ABOUT ALKIS KALOUMENOS
Alkis Kaloumenos, born in Athens, is a versatile instrumentalist, composer, and performer with a musical journey spanning various instruments and genres. Growing up in a musical family, he started guitar at 8 and later studied in Paris under Pierre Cullaz.
His career includes collaborations with theaters, founding the group "Trianemia," and engagements with ballet and theater groups. After receiving recognition in France, he continued his studies in Switzerland and later collaborated with diverse artistic communities in Greece.
Kaloumenos earned awards for original compositions and founded musical theater groups like "Ihos Plagios" and "Sympaignia." Currently residing in Agios Nikolaos, Crete, he leads the "Orchestra of the Mountains" and showcases his talents through various projects, including "Duende" and solo performances in luxury hotels since 2015, featuring jazz, blues, Brazilian music, rock, reggae, American folk, and classical guitar compositions.
